Traffic and Parking Bylaw
We’re reviewing our rules for parking and traffic in our district on roads that we control.
We’re reviewing the bylaw to bring it in line with our recently published plan and goals for reducing waste: No Time to Waste Tiakina a Papa! Mimiti te Para! (our Waste Management and Minimisation Plan).
Stock Crossing Bylaw
We’re reviewing the rules and permitting system for moving stock in our district on roads that we control, and proposing to revoke the ex-Franklin Livestock on Roads Bylaw.
Speed Management Plan
We’re reviewing speed limits and proposing some work to keep people on our roads safe.
We asked for your feedback on our action plan to manage and reduce waste in the District. We’ve now made decisions on our planned actions, and the way the kerbside collection will look from 2023.
Waste Management NZ Limited has lodged a resource consent application with Hauraki District Council and Waikato Regional Council for further landfill development in Tirohia. The applications will be processed jointly by the two Councils.
