Our 2018-28 long term plan | Tō Mātou Mahere Roa
In 2018 we asked for your feedback on our proposed route for the next ten years. Due to increasing infrastructure costs, population growth, and the need to be prepared for the effects of things like climate change, we are facing a major increase in the cost of delivering our services in the near future. We had some tough decisions to make and we needed to know which route you’d like to take.
After listening to your feedback, we made a few changes to our plans, but overall, we heard that you were generally comfortable with the route we proposed. Our 2018-28 long term plan | Tō Mātou Mahere Roa has now been finalised and results in an average rates increase of 4.4% over the next ten years.
